2011 Breeder of the Year
Snowmass Alpacas is named Large Breeder of the Year for a second consecutive year in 2011. This year has been a very exciting year in the alpaca industry with many upcoming new opportunities.Our show year was a great success and we are pleased to see our clients also advance and with help from our genetics.
Once again, Tripping Gnome Farm has been named Medium Breeder of the Year - Congratulations to them on a wonderful breeding program.
As we move into the future of this industry, Snowmass Alpacas is proud to be a leader in helping to develope the marketplace not only for our genetics, but for all aspects of the industry. This year we are traveling to Peru to view, amoung other interests, textile mills where alpaca fiber is in full production. We are very dedicated to pursuing and implementing a substainable fiber production here in the United States. We hope to have a small line of clothing to show at this years Making of Champions Sale.
In this years sale we are also going to be pre-selecting our 2012 show string then we are going to sell that entire collection at our sale along with some of our Premier Studs and Dams. Make plans to attend this exciting event.
