Description

Snowmass XXXtremely Golden is one of the finest light Brown fleeced studs we own. Much of what he expresses comes from his Dam who's lineage originates from the Cambria breeder of Peru. We named the original Dam we purchased from Peru 6Peruvian Cambria 6264 to remember this most exquisite female and her breeder. She in all likelihood represents a true pure alpaca. As close and fine to the vicuna as they come. Every one of the alpacas that come out of this line are remarkably fine which makes this trait extremely heritable. Now she was bred to another equally exceptional Peruvian import 5Peruvian Cangalli 8586 who like 6P Cambria was another true alpaca with vicuna qualities and chosen to represent the breeder by her Name as well. She was bred to our #1 import Stud 5Peruvian Chaccu and they produced Snowmass Cangalli Gold a multi Champion stud now owned by North American Alpaca Stud.All this makes Snowmass Crimson Tide who we bred her to the most XXXtremely amazing colored stud, Snowmass XXXtreme, and the Golden cria was born. He is ready to breed this coming spring and we wait with great anticipation

Fiber and Fleece Description

This fleece is one of the rare few to be true to vicuna as we have ever witnessed. The density and fineness is beyond compare. These types of fleeces typically do not show well but on this male you just can't miss it and why he has done so well at the shows.
