Snowmass Royal Lineage, As I went through our list of alpacas we designated for our sale this year and began to go through the statistics of Royal Lineage and knowing we bred her to Snowmass Best Man, I selfishly pulled her. Then as I began to worry about the sale and prayed for some peace and there was that clear message "no selfish hold backs"!
So here she is. Her name is inspired by a true Royal Lineage and one we have bred many years to achieve. Last year was the first year we crossed our colored XXXtreme daughters and Best Man and all I can say HOLY !#@)@(#* , they are incredible. We only have a few born but enough to tell us to turn more girls his way. Best Man is producing the first colored Silkies, lacey tight bundling staples of shiny silk with substantial curvature, (which is the very difference between and Suri alpaca and a Huacaya Siky Alpaca). It's simply revolutionary and we can't wait to show this year's cria of all colors. We wished we bred many more colored girls to him, there will always be next year!
We kept Royal Lineage as the replacement of her colored Dam, Snowmass Amberlight who was one of higher selling females at MOC sale a few years back purchased by Sunset Hills Farms who have the uncanny ability to select our Royal Dams at our sale.
Royal Lineage's sire is Snowmass XXXtreme, who himself is revolutionary in his color fiber genetics. So we have good hopes to expect that Royal Lineage will produce a colored silky. This offspring will bring new meaning to the saying MAN oh MAN! which is what you will say when it's born this July and or Holy !@&*(!@!
