6Peruvian Monarch IMPR98
Description
The most astounding thing about 6 Peruvian Monarch is the heritability of CONSISTENCY in fineness. Please be sure to see his histogram and pay close attention to his Coefficient of Variance in Fiber Diameter (CV)
In most alpacas you see a slightly higher CV than the MFD (Mean Fiber diameter). MONARCH is an exquisite exception to the rule!
He is a very well balanced strong framed stud male with what I call the IDEAL head.
Strong square muzzle, heavy wool cap, dark almond eyes perfect bite and sharp speared alpaca type ears. His son Snowmass Sub-Zero is an exact replica of him and as both have shown that all these very important elements Monarch possesses are highly heritable.
We had Alonso Burgos from Peru enter our herd data in a program they have developed and Monarch came out as the most influential stud in our herd to improve fiber fineness!
He is an essential genetic key to overall improvement in ALPACA FIBER.
Fiber and Fleece Description
Merino crimp with curvature in 40's and distinctly organized stapling. Extreme brightness and exceptional consistency of fineness.
